Dr. Sudip Mittal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Mississippi State University. His research interests fall broadly in the areas of Cybersecurity, Cyber-Physical Systems, and Artificial Intelligence. More specifically, his work focuses on building self-protecting systems, autonomous intrusion response, along with predictive maintenance and security of unmanned vehicles/aircraft. At Mississippi State, he leads the Secure and Trustworthy Cyberspace (SECRETS) Lab and is the Associate Research Director of the Predictive Analytics and Technology Integration (PATENT) Lab. He has published over 70 journals and conference papers in leading venues. Mittal’s work has been referenced in The LA times, Business Insider, WIRED, and The CyberWire. He is a member of the ACM and IEEE.
